The Republic of Uzbekistan’s official currency is the Uzbekistan Som; it has an average exchange rate of USD 1= UZS 10,500 (March 2021). Foreign currencies can be exchanged in banks, currency exchange offices, and major hotels.

The first month of the autumn, September, is warm in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with temperature in the range of an average high of 29.3°C (84.7°F) and an average low of 13°C (55.4°F).
LANGUAGE
While Uzbek is the official language for the Republic of Uzbekistan; Russian and English are widely spoken.
WORKING HOURS
Public Service Offices: Open from 09:00 to 18:00 (Monday to Friday). Banks: Open from 09:00 to 16:00 00 (Monday to Friday). Companies: Open from 09:00 to 18:00 or from 08:00 to 17:00 from (Monday to Friday). Shops are open every day from 08:00 to 21:00. The weekly days off: Saturday and Sunday.
