OVERVIEW:
In a rapidly changing globalized world, with increasing uncertainty and complexity, it is imperative for governments to adopt strategic foresight and innovative governance tools. The effective talent management strategies can equip public sector organizations with the skills and knowledge to adapt to shocks and changing circumstances. Thus, bridging the skills gap between education and employment through education and training is crucial. Effective coordination and collaboration at all levels of government and across borders are also needed to foster an integrated whole-of-government approach. This session will focus on how innovation and governance mechanisms can better support in policy planning for the future, ensuring a more sustainable development and resilience to future shocks.

- What are the key lessons learnt from recovery packages adopted by countries/institutions to better design and implement green growth measures at local and national levels using innovation governance tools?
